Tips About Auto-Delete Feature of Aobo Mac Keylogger
- The function of auto-delete, designed for users who have little future opportunity to access the target Mac, aims at reducing the size of log emails and making sure the log emails are sent successfully.
- The function of auto-delete will recalculate the auto-delete time when you click “Hide and Go”. That is to say, if you bring up the keylogger interface and then hide and go it, the keylogger will postpone the time of its auto-delete.
- The logs will not be automatically deleted if no one logs in the user account. Because Mac Keylogger will not work when you log out the account.
- Only if the keylogger sends out a log email according to the email interval, it will delete the logs automatically. It does so to guarantee that you will not miss any log details.
- If you are able to access the keylogger interface now and again, please delete logs manually.
- If you are a user who has no access to the keylogger for a long time, please check “Automatically Delete Logs”.
- If you need to send screenshots by emails, please set a shorter auto-delete interval such as 2 days.

How to Avoid Malware from Popups and Emails
The safest thing you can do if you are paranoid about this is to not trust any of those popup updates at all. And have your software set to not automatically do update, but updating them manually yourself by checking the software manufacture Websites for updates and downloading it from them. While this is a lot more work on your end, it definitely cuts down the chances of being deceived with malware.
However, if the manual work doesn't seem like that is your cup of tea, just be very, very careful and if you have any suspicions- just don't click it at all! One particular bit of advice I must point out is to never click on any pop-ups you do not trust or are uncertain about. Don't click the "X" to try to close the popup. There are malware tricks that use that to install their garbage as well as clicking anywhere else on the popup.
Never ever, ever follow a link from an email you've received to update a product. If there is an update available, you should be able to find it by using the programs internal update feature. If you can't find it, try the program's web site. You'd be surprised how many fake update notifications people receive through email. If you're looking at new products and you trust the site (always check the URL address), that's okay. If you're uncertain, Delete the email. If there truly is a problem, you'll find out soon enough. In most cases, they're just trying to sell you something new.

How to Configure Email Timer to Make Auto-Email Function Work?
Aobo Mac Keylogger auto-email function is based on the email timer to send logs in an interval automatically.
If you have configured the mail tab exactly as described including Port 587. The test email was successful and received. But no other emails are received after that.
Please follow below steps to resolve it.
1. Check Mac computer energy saver.
Normally the mac will go to sleep mode when it is idle for some time. If the computer goes to sleep, the keylogger goes to sleep too. All the logs can't be sent in this sleeping period. When the mac wakes up, the keylogger wakes up too, the timer continue calculating from the time before the computer sleeping period. The sleeping period will be ignored totally. If you want to turn off the mac sleeping or set it longer, please check the apple help: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2412
2. Check the email interval and screenshot interval you've set.
The email interval should be longer than 30 minutes, and screenshots interval should be 1/2 or 1/3 or 1/4 of the email interval, if the screenshot interval is too short than the email interval, lots of screenshots will be sent at a time as email attachment, if the attachment is oversized, the email can't be sent successfully.
